Most of the Time Matters 14 links to third-party programs install very smoothly during the upgrade process. But venerable Outlook 2007 produced two easily fixed error messages.

Redemption Helper Outlook Extension Error

After installing Time Matters 14, a Redemption Helper Outlook Extension error may occur when opening Outlook 2007. This post shows how to fix it.

Outlook Error

The error message reads:

The Add-in "Redemption Helper Outlook Extension" (C:\Program Files\LexisNexis\Time Matters 13\TMOAPI.DLL) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Please contact the Add-in manufacturer for an update. If no update is available, please uninstall the Add-in.

To fix the issue in Outlook 2007:

1. Go to Tools | Trust Center

2. Go to Add-ins | Com Add-ins drop-down | Exchange Client Extension | Go

3. Uncheck Redemption Helper Outlook Extension and press OK.

This error message may appear when opening Outlook 2007 after installing a Time Matters upgrade:
